why?

WHY does the new computer play music when it goes into sleep mode.  BUT not all the time.  only sometimes.   It's so very very strange.  Sometimes it goes into sleep mode silently and sometimes it plays this really annoying 70's TV show piano music.  I wish I could figure out how to change the settings so that it always goes into sleep mode silently.


Why does LJ have these little dancing mood icons on the top of my friends page today - is this a new thing they are trying?  I think I may actually have to choose a template if this continues.  I like simple layouts and dancing mood icons are not fitting my MOOD - which is deteriorating as I look at happy smiling sun faces.
