When you are sewing an important project & using a light coloured fabric...

it is NOT a good idea to stab yourself with a sharp pin or pins and then bleed all over the fabric you are about to sew into place.

had to wash my fabric and blot it dry - but it looks like the blood came out.

I'm glad to hear that I am not the only one who has done this.

I was really glad it washed out. I did not want to have to re-cut, re-press, re-baste a FRESH piece of fabric. I don't have time for screw ups.
