Harper sure did escape. That was a close one. Looks like Ignatieff is going to take charge. I hope they don't keep calling him an elitist.

So if parliament is down for 50+ days, do we have to pay them?

no kidding! that really steams me.

no wonder MP's fight so hard for their seats.

I bet we could balance the budget & cut the deficit if we cut either their salaries or their pensions...just a couple % or do we really need all those MP's ... how about a 10% reduction.

But I know how you feel. Sometimes I've posted basically the same thing. "Where ARE you people?!" I think sometimes everyone's just busy, and it's always during the holiday season.

Maybe they're lurking on Facebook. ;)

you're on face book quite a lot - do you prefer it to LJ?

I can't say that I like it.
I'm keeping track of a few people more than I normally would be able to but...it feels less intimate than LJ. Casual - oh - X is baking cookies, Y is at school.
AND
I suspect some of my computer issues started with a Facebook application/video!

I'm trying it out for awhile. Family members are on Facebook as opposed to (no one at) LJ. It is very interactive, but yeah, more impersonal. Seems like a lot of people are in there playing games. I don't prefer it to LJ, no. Haven't had any computer issues with it so far.

I'm here! Kansas got blasted with our first nasty snowstorm of the season, so of course everyone is driving with their asses. My husband's bus was 2 hours late. Lucky for me I brought a book to read while I waited to pick him up!
