I haven't heard more about the emus.
Harper sure did escape. That was a close one. Looks like Ignatieff is going to take charge. I hope they don't keep calling him an elitist.
So if parliament is down for 50+ days, do we have to pay them?

no kidding! that really steams me.
no wonder MP's fight so hard for their seats.
I bet we could balance the budget & cut the deficit if we cut either their salaries or their pensions...just a couple % or
do we really need all those MP's
... how about a 10% reduction.
cutbacks baby! they are effecting all levels of society.
