these are all the possibles for me, although a few are more than 6 hours away. Toronto is 4, Grand Rapids is 4, I think Chicago is 5 or 6... I'm not sure about Columbus or Cleveland...

sigh.... I keep hoping they will put something concrete up. A location maybe??? A workshop would be ... to much to hope for ...

I'm awake because I'm hot and then cold, I have a headache that won't quit and I can't concentrate enough to read my school text, my current recreational book is in a boring spot. And of course I keep dwelling on how BAD that presentation was... *sigh*

it so hard to tell... about the presentation.

I went in without a thesis arguement. bad, Part of the problem with volunteering for an early time slot, I didn't have time to work it up to something... (in retrospect, now that I have to 2 weeks to write up the research into an essay... it looks like it will be along the lines of winners write the history, but some people champion the underdog...this guy is still a loser.)

The overhead projector didn't work so I had to write a portion of my overheads on the blackboard and read the rest... I think it would have been more clear if I'd had it written out?

My mouth was dry because I went 3rd, and by this time my water bottle was empty. ... I hate going last, I LIKE to go first...

I just felt rather lost and like I was repeating myself...

I assumed they had the same historical background knowledge of the subject as I did... which maybe they did and maybe they didn't... so maybe I skimmed a lot of stuff I should have covered more in depth...

As much as I hate them I wish we did more presentations... so that I could learn to be better prepared for them.

so what happened with your car? It showed its true colors?

what can go wrong will right? i understand wishing to do more presentations. its like teaching or dancing in public--there is always a little stage fright but you get better at it.

well my cars tripometer and thusly milage quit working, the spedometer showed a reading of 0 the entire way back and one of the door locks became increasingly difficult again. oh and the back hatch will only open from the top glass part not the whole door. but it still runs fine and has ac so as long as i track my milage i'll be ok.
