I just post to relieve stress and - it isn't really helping lately. It is- because I'm a big believer in the articulation of thoughts as a coping mechanism. If you can put it into words rather than a nebulous ill feeling you face reality and deal with it better.
That's probably true, the writing down throughts instead of letting them stew in your head. I have a private journal for those ramblings, and it does help.
Maybe you need to try other things to relieve stress besides just journaling. Hot bath? Meditate? Walks in nature (uh, when it's warm)? Good sex? ;) Massage (if it's affordable or free!)?
