false eyelashes

I do not like them Sam I am.

but I'm wearing them anyway.

Why do people wear these willingly?

I've never worn them before. It just seems like another stupid thing to worry about that could go wrong. However, my eyes are deep-set and turn downward, so I think I'm inevitably going to have to cave and try them. *sigh*

Today I am wearing mascara for the first time in at least 3 or 4 years. I didn't want to have to resort to that, either, because mascara is a pain in the ass. But I give up. My eyes need all the help they can get.

Once they are on... I guess it's not really -so- bad.

They were the most annoying while I was driving to the event but I didn't really notice them during the performance.

I think that the reason my REAL eyelashes are long, thick & healthy is because I rarely wear mascara in my day to day, Basically performance only.

I was talking to this -person- recently and she wears CLEAR mascara - why? that just seems so... pointless.
