found out what had the dog all worked up last night ...

it wasn't the random harp music or bird noises in the harry potter dvd.

fireworks.

some JACKASS lit up about 15 minutes of boomers and screamers at midnight.

Thanks jerk.

I *WAS* sound asleep and then had to spend a half hour calming the dog down so that she would stop crying and shaking. And that was AFTER I gave her a doggie valium.

Who, Pandora? Awww, poor baby! We had fireworks going off nearby here, too, but they weren't that close or loud, so kitty was fine. Maybe she needs to be in a relatively soundproof room with sedatives before any festivities?
