christmas all too soon.

dancingleafI'm tired& I don't feel good. I can't manage to shake this sore throat.
But I did get a good chunk of my Christmas shopping done today.
I constantly have the craving to buy gifts for myself. Probably because I haven't been shopping in forever.
I also have the inlaws due in this weekend. Sunday - for two days. Phhhhbbbt. Which means I have to clean & decorate the house. At least DH will take care of the grocery shopping and cooking while they are here. I swear my MIL thinks fruits & vegetables are poison. Yet another of the many reasons we don't get along.
sigh - I'm probably not feeling well because of the stress/anticipation of her visit.
also she hates dogs, all dogs - I think ours are particularly detestable because they are hairy, shed, drool and are of the extra large and not terribly well behaved variety. Actually they are pretty well behaved if you don't mind dogs that sit on the couch. But heck they LIVE here year round even. MIL visits - maybe once a year???
