wings are heavy

and HOT! I know she keeps the studio warm but - man I was sweltering in them.

I did two songs and thought my arms would just about fall off but at least I got to play with them a bit.

This was actually the first time that I did more than just wave my arms about for a bit.

I stayed for about an hour in the empty studio just playing with the new veil and the wings of course - just improvising and playing around for a while.

I tried to recall the choreography from my monday dance class. Did okay with the WRITTEN notes in my hand. Did not do so well when attempting it by music. A few of the combinations but definitely not all.

In the class that I taught last night we well me really constructed out own short choreography/hustle. I practiced that for a while. Trying to find other music that it would work with.

Did not even attempt the Tuesday choreo. phbbt. why waste my time with that.

my goal is to one day actually LEARN a choreography. although I'm not sure why?

blah blah blah. well I actually should clean some of this house.

I never really thought about how heavy they'd be - the pros make them look so light.

Of course, I find a veil heavy if I dance with it long enough. (More upper body strength would generally be a good thing in my life.)
