bummed out...
Dec. 6th, 2010 10:57 amokay - moving on.
so that veil finally arrived - the one I ordered in August? I was expecting Reds/oranges instead it is more purple & orange - great veil but... doesn't exactly go with the red costume I bought it for - it does go beautifully with the orange one I was not shopping for.
do I go back and change her feed back from negative to neutral ..... or even positive?

Date: 2010-12-07 04:44 am (UTC)Well, if it matches something you own, that's not so bad (but sounds like right now it doesn't). I wouldn't change the feedback. It took three months to show up.
Mark sold a tire changer on eBay weeks ago (after not selling it thru Craigslist) and the people took almost two weeks to respond, had to call him about a dozen times (I'm not kidding) to try and arrange for their friend or family member to come pick it up (at which they failed twice in a week), and they were WAY out of town. They tried to talk him down to $50 less on the price but after all the hassle, he told them no way, they've been a big pain in the ass. (They also barely spoke any English.) They finally picked it up, but first Mark had to go to the U-Haul rental place with them (because they couldn't fuckin' find it) and get them set up with that. o.0 Then about a hour later they came and finally paid, loaded it up and took off... almost a month later after the damn listing ended. Plus, they were newbies and had absolutely zero feedback. Hubby didn't know to block those types from being able to bid, but he does now!

Date: 2010-12-07 01:12 pm (UTC)it's totally awesome colour wise. But on the monitor it looked like a mix of reds/orange/tiniest amt of yellow and I wanted it to go with my gold coin bedlah & red skirt - the outfit I wear for party gigs- not what I was expecting but... lovely nonetheless.
and I still need a veil for the red skirt.
