new purchase
Jul. 10th, 2011 03:14 pmbecause the silver set I bought in April still isn't ready for professional gigs...
it leaves me wearing the gold coin costume over and over. So I gave in and bought this beauty off the swap meet.

I really hope it fits as I've been having no luck on the buying on the internet lately.
also - here's our group before the parade the other day.........

that's me in the sunglasses, bright pink sleeves and blue skirt on the end.

Date: 2011-07-11 06:51 pm (UTC)not all their costumes are expensive, but if it is more than $200-than there is almost no way I would buy it. Plus I always have to consider shipping and customs fees. Shipping usually $15-20, customs fees 15%.
but with the party bookings I really needed an alternate costume.

Date: 2011-07-11 08:52 pm (UTC)I think it'll be awhile before I can even justify $100 on an outfit, and you don't find many good ones that cheap! Plus, NONE of those belts will ever fit me, unless they are custom-made. My waist/hip ratio is just was to wacky. The curse of the bubbly butt. :(
