well - I've given them all that I can.

my vet's number as a reference
the number for a friend of mine who does Cairn Terrier Rescue to do my "home inspection" or act as a second reference - since they don't have someone local who can do a home visit.

I would have liked to spend the day driving down to meet her today - but ... oh well.

if she doesn't come to us hopefully she finds a good home somewhere else.

I will keep my fingers crossed for her, that is she doesn't go to you, she will go to a good home! I think it was a good thing to do, even if you don't get her, to put yourself out there and try to help, because someone needs to. :/
