short story of cheesecake

I got this magazine in the mail.

with a receipe for a low cal DELICIOUS ~looking~ cheesecake on the cover.

yummmmmmmmy.

bought all the ingredients on Saturday - NOT CHEAP - let me tell you.

Jeff & I set out to make it Saturday night.

and found out that my springform pan had gone completely rusted - so it hit the garbage can,  I went out to the grocery store (that is open late) to see if I could buy a new one.  AND discussed with Jeff that WE WOULD BUY A NEW SPRINGFORM PAN IN THE MORNING!  if the store didn't have one.

They didn't so I bought a cheap cake mix instead.

Only to come home to Jeff MID-MIXING!!!!

Yeah so - he proceeded to mix the rest of the ingredients & put it together in a glass 9X13

First it baked then it sat in the fridge over night.

Today - we went to have a piece and -.... this VERY expensive cheesecake followed the springform pan into the trash.  It was HORRIBLE.

Given that the raw ingredients were actually pretty tasty - I'd say he should have WAITED for the springform pan.
