Don't say I didn't warn you.
First up. Photos of my CAMEL. yes - CAMEL - I don't want to think about all the time, MONEY and energy that went into this thing. I made this camel to serve as a business card holder at my bigger events/ those events where I take my students. If I am there alone - I carry my business cards in the pocket of my cover up. If I am out dancing at an event people invariably come up to my students and ask for a business card. FINALLY - now they know WHERE I keep my business cards. Humphrey has them.

NEXT - pictures of Daisy and Marcus being... cute?
Marcus is seriously attached to Daisy. He wants to be exactly where ever she is and as close as she will let him.

Marcus in the Bath. He weighed in at 51 lbs on the morning this was taken and not yet 6 months old. Doesn't everyone take pictures of their baby in the bathtub?

If you want to see a WHOLE lot more photos of Daisy and Marcus playing in the yard or doing other things... you can see them on Flickr..... or I hope you can any way.

Date: 2013-01-17 12:41 am (UTC)And, seriously, you do win something for the end-of-the-world card - you might want to chose something or you end up with random crap from my house! If you need ideas of what I make, this is last year's list of projects. If there's a pattern out there you like of something, I can try to make it. Needlebooks, stitch markers, hip scarves (I know not everyone likes the crocheted ones because they are warm)....

Date: 2013-01-18 04:11 am (UTC)I've always wanted to try my hand at dying veils but... don't have the time and resources for that at the moment. I may get to it one day. Yours turned out extremely well - I may pick your brain on that subject when I decide I'm ready to give it a shot.
OMG! your Shimmy for the CURE costumes were FABULOUS! I wish I could get my ladies to do something like that. It would be so awesome.
NO MICE. No MICE. NOT even little cutesy pretend mice made out of champagne corks. I am dealing with the in the house RODENT variety right now and it is FREAKING ME THE H#LL OUT.
I love the crowns - but it's just not something I could use.
So it best be a bracelet. The bonus is it should be fairly easy to ship. I wear a lot of purple/magenta/silver - but will also be working on a costume in the orange not red beads with muted Gold accents. One day. In the near future.
I'm actually trying to decide if I want to buy the supposed 'blood red' beads from the same vendor - it's actually really well strung fringe but... I hate to buy yet MORE red glass fringe. I'd let it sit - except.... She's getting out of the business and who knows when I'll see anything close to this quality again- if only I could be sure it was the right RED??????
I was really delighted with the card. and the scratch off that we would meet our demise by Giant Space Puppy. I thought you must have written it especially for me. :) So thank you. That truly was gift enough.
