I am trying to decide between resolutions

either deleting or abandoning social media entirely  (as in Facebook and Google + and the like) not journals - although I don't post often anymore.

OR resolving to post daily. 

I have some stalker thing that is starting on Google+  I might have to start blocking people or at least being more careful about public posts - which defeats the use of it for business purposes.

and Facebook just irritates the crap out of me.

Holidays have been dull and dreary. But I'm reading lots and resting my foot - so hopefully I'm giving it lots of time for healing. 

So Happy New Year.  Chime in if you have an opinion.

I think you should journal daily(ish), a limit FB/Google (since those seem to irritate you). Like, post six days a week to your journal, but check in/post NO MORE than once a week elsewhere. And keep the FB/Google posts all business.

I have a goal to have so many "Facebookless" days, and though I didn't manage it last year (in great part due to some of the games, I admit, also keeping in contact with my father) I'm going again for a limit this year. It's getting easier and easier to distance myself, since I have to be careful about what I say and do - I certainly couldn't let anyone know about all the porn I wrote for kink_bingo under my pseudonym account there!

I also admit that a lot of my online interaction is at Craftster these days.

Ooooh, I finally went to Dahlal, it was... well, depressing, since I have a giant butt and none of the belts sit properly (my friend DOES NOT understand this, I realize they're supposed to sit on your hips but they give me a muffin top and make me look HUGE and WIDE there, I want something higher), but kinda fun, too. I did buy a few things, but not a real costume since, see: giant butt. I wish I'd had you send me a scrap of red you're looking for - they had some red beaded fringe, one was obviously not a good red (very blue/purple) but the other looked fairly red.

I've already gone most of the holidays without either and find myself much better off without them. In fact my primary source of holiday angst revolves around seeing posts on Google+

I was teaching a choreography and part of the song involves facing the back - I was explaining to my students that your costume is decorated on the backside - don't you want to show off ALL of your costume? One of my students, who happens to possess a sizable booty herself, continued with - and some of us have more canvas than others!

So celebrate your booty! it gives you more canvas to decorate!

I should send you some of this red I'm looking for.
I have the jewelry. I have the fabric. I even have sequins. What I don't have is fringe. I may settle for doing it in a white/rhinestone accent. At least then I'll have a holiday/valentine/christmas look?
