I am an idiot.

I have been planning to paint my 'office'

basically a bedroom in my house that has multiple big heavy bookshelves, a couple filing cabinets, a huge U shaped desk and two computers - among other things.

I moved two of the book shelves away from the walls and planned out how and where I would start painting today- figuring I will have to paint the room in sections. This wall and two corners today, that corner the next and all that....

only this morning I realize.... I forgot that the ceiling needs paint too!

This sounds like something out of a Laurel and Hardy sketch! Don't suppose the ceiling is the same colour as the floor?

ha - no.

Good news though - I finished the ceiling and a good chunk of the walls. I still need to do behind two of the book cases and the desk though. But first I have to move furniture again!
