dancingleafso yes I paid the fee to continue cataloging my books at library thing. I have 357 books logged so far. I still have a couple hundred to go.
The thing is... the books I added yest - I really wonder why they survived the first purge. I got rid of 4 boxes of books a few weeks ago BEFORE I started painting the office. The books I went through yest.... I'm thinking I might toss another half box or so... I'm never going to read them again - which means they are just taking up space. Just because I like the author doesn't mean ALL of his/her books are worth keeping on my shelves.
I'm discovering things as I catalog my books. Old friends, some are books that are falling apart. Some are new books that I didn't know were on my shelves that look very interesting and then there are things that I wonder how they got there or why I've kept.
