Where are my ZILLS?
Feb. 10th, 2009 10:24 amI cannot find my zills anywhere.
I have 4 sets.
1 set of Neferetitis
1 set of Tinker zills
1 set of heavy single holed zills
&
1 set of crappy tin zills.
The only ones I can find are the crappy ones, not that I ever use the heavy single holed ones.
Obviously they are all hanging out together somewhere.
I thought they might be in the studio - but they weren't.
I've gone through every possible hiding place around here I can think of...
I know I wanted to buy another set but ... this is ridiculous.

Date: 2009-02-10 07:53 pm (UTC)US/Canadian is about 1.22 right now... so... $46 US = $58 Canadian?, $30 Canadian is $23 US...
they are still Saroyan - She just sends you to Saroyan website for the sound clips. They all sound bad to me. I hate zills, nails on a chalkboard. Hence the reason I really really don't want to buy another set.
They just have to be here somewhere!

Date: 2009-02-10 08:03 pm (UTC)I don't like the high-pitched, tinny sounds of most zills, especially the beginner's zills--ugh! I'll have two good pair, and only with deeper tones, although the pair I have now is a bit loud, but they're good for being heard over loud music.
Keep looking! They gotta be around somewhere.

Date: 2009-02-10 08:19 pm (UTC)sometimes Customs decides to tack on extra (tax) sometimes not.
Usually if it is under $100 they let it slide - but not always.
SOMETIMES - they hold it for a week or two while they think about it.
Technically - I am importing goods from a foreign country. i.e. YOU GUYS.
I'm hoping to borrow a set from a friend - & hope mine turn up.
