I have been so distracted planning for my event ... that... I let my library books get past their due date!  oh noes!

Yeah so... it won't let me renew them because my fine is too high... like $5. or so.   

I'll have to take care of that on Monday.

In the meantime as a reminder to myself ...

I want to read Divine Misdemeanors - (pure trash reading but... I like it)

& I want some more of the Yasmine Galenorn series ... starting with Witchling I think... more trash but... I need the escapism.

The only thing I have to do now is load the vehicles AND decorate the room. And I can't get into the room until 6pm. So...

what is the "planning ahead"?

6pm Yikes. How many performances is it? How big is the room?

10 numbers for the first half -(my student numbers) total about 45 minutes, including intro yacking.
10 numbers for the second half, soloists & guests - total about 50 minutes.

Total number of performers... um... 20? There are about 8 student performers & some of them are in the second half too.
I've invited 4 vendors. so they need room & tables to set up.

Show goes from 7-9. I've told the performers we go on a 7:15 with or without you & I've planned a 10 minute intermission. We have to be out by 10. So I told everyone I'm throwing them out at 9:30... so we better be finished!

The room is supposed to hold 200 for parties etc. I'm hoping for about 60-80 people? I've had lots of offers for help so I should have the room dressed in no time.

I still have to do hair & makeup & get into the costume.

I loaded my truck but have to load J's with the "backdrop"

uhm... I have to APPROVE my friend's costume or put together an alternate for her.

I'm half thinking I might start my next costuming creation... I'm think of either doing something in all breast cancer pink or... something more like a mermaid in blues, purples & turquoise shades. Plus I have that orange & red one STILL pinned on the mannequin.
