taught my class last night with my sore back - that was fun let me tell ya.

no ommis, no camels, no undulations. ow ow ow.  but bumps & shimmies were fine, some of the chest moves were okay and others were just mildly twingy.

it feels a little better today.

I did burn a layer of skin off last night.

I found some rather old, smelly, liniment in a drawer and put it on my back.  At first it felt really really good and then it got hotter and hotter and I had to jump up out of bed and take a shower at 11:15 pm.  Which washed some of it off but not nearly all of it.  There are still a few places that look a little red.

yeah & showering that late at night - not so much fun either.

come to think of it - there is very little fun about a sprained back.

So tell me - how do YOU think I hurt my back in the first place?

a)  helping a friend pack & move furniture on Sunday
b) dancing and working on choreography in my tile floor kitchen, without warming up or stretching on Monday
c) sleeping in a weird, back wrenching and strained position on Monday night and really we probably should buy a new mattress soon...
d) all of the above
e) none of the above - comment with answer
f) some weird freaky kinky sex thing

My honest answer is probably A, because you probably twisted or tried to reach too far with something heavy. Plus, you were helping someone else, and no good deed goes unpunished.

But F would be a much more interesting answer, and you'd have had more fun getting the injury, at least, so I'm hoping it's that.... ;)
