Mar. 6th, 2007 10:58 amI should be writing this cursed paper.
instead I am cursing my body - trying to understand why I am having a period when it is close to a week and a half early.
waffling over whether I should see my GP.
-
dammit. write the paper then worry about the rest.

Otherwise I would have been more than happy to leave it until May.

and there you have the beauty of socialized medicine.... I don't have to consider what will I have to pay for this visit, or what I might have to pay for any tests he might order....
to me it is just a pain in the (.) that I have to drive down to his office today, wait far less time than my previous doctor, and then see what he says about it. then do whatever tests he might want... and hope they don't conflict with the Pandora schedule. 'cause that takes precedence with me!

Date: 2007-03-08 07:57 pm (UTC)he sent me for a pregnancy test.
hahahahahahahaha
which is the reason I am delayed I had to sit around in the lab for ages...
okay.... so... extremely extremely unlikely...but for a sexually active woman of childbearing years... any abnormality in cycle... we have to start there.
then an abd ultrasound... which I need to phone and book. If there are abnormalities his office will call me. If not - I will see him in May for my physical AND we will talk about changing my birth control. Could be the hormones aren't strong enough or are too strong. I've been on the same pills now for over 20 years.
I can't wait to tell J he sent me for a preg test. Too funny.
